New Payroll Website Now Available!

We are pleased to announce that the Payroll website has transitioned to a new and upgraded look! The new Payroll website will still host the same helpful content and resources but will allow for easier website navigation.

A few important notes:

  • The payroll website address has not changed: The new website will have the same address as the current website: payroll.pitt.edu.
     
  • Bookmarked payroll website pages should work but may need to be updated: Any pages that were bookmarked from the old payroll website will automatically route you to where the same content lives on the new website. We encourage you to bookmark your favorite pages again now that the new website is available to ensure the addresses are up to date.
     
  • All bookmarked PDF links will need to be updated: the links to PDFs from the old website will not automatically redirect you to the PDFs on the new website. All PDFs that were on the old website are available on the new website; however, you will need to update your bookmarks for those PDFs to ensure the URLs are correct. If you are having trouble locating a PDF on the new website, we recommend using the search bar to find to PDF you are looking for.
     
  • Payroll website content has not changed: All content that was on the previous payroll site will still be available; however, we have made improvements to the way the content is displayed and to the overall website navigation.

Helpful Tips for Navigating the New Site

  • Home Page Navigation
    • From the homepage, you will be able to select any of the categories along the top of the page to obtain self-service information, year-end information, schedules & deadlines, the latest announcements, and contact information. There are also additional links on the homepage for the latest announcements, schedules & deadlines, and FAQs.
  • To “Select Your Role”
    • Scroll down to the middle of the homepage and select your role from the drop-down menu. You will also be able to select different roles from the interior pages of the site.
  • Employee-Self Service and Year-End Information
    • Content has now been divided into the appropriate subcategories. This will help you to easily find any specific information you are looking for.
  • Schedules & Deadlines
    • This is where you will find the Timecard Deadlines, Biweekly Pay Schedule, Monthly Pay Schedule, Holiday Schedule, and Department Administrator Functional Calendars.
