We hope you have had some time to get acclimated to and navigate the new Pitt Worx system.
As a friendly reminder, we would like to remind you of the importance of timely and accurate review of payroll information and registers for all employees for each payroll.
You have numerous online resources and reporting tools that can assist you in accomplishing these important tasks each pay period:
Time Card Management
- Timecard view for all of your employees, as well as an Department Administrator view. Please visit the Pitt Worx Hub Time and Labor FAQ for additional assistance.
- Friendly timecard reminders sent a couple of hours prior to the established timecard deadlines for all staff, to remind of submission and/or approval.
Payroll Register Review
- You may review your employee’s information in Pitt Worx to ensure transactions are fully approved prior to payroll processing.
- Payroll preview register – This is an essential tool for Department Administrators with payroll register access to review payroll changes, new hires, terminations, ICP (Individual Compensation Plan, formerly OSPP) payments during this review process to ensure your employees are paid accurately and timely on payday.
- Early review may help result in alleviating payroll service fees.

- Final Payroll Register – Department Administrators with payroll register access may still notify payroll of any pay issues prior to payday.

- OHR Analytics Dashboard using Tableau – OHR has implemented this analytics platform, which allows you to review data such as headcounts, roster data, and individual employee information
As we have requested, please be sure ALL questions, problems and requests are now submitted directly through our ERM Customer Support System. This is extremely important for tracking, coverage, training, review and timely response and action. Effective May 1, 2021 payroll representatives will no longer respond to direct emails for general payroll inquiries. If an email is received, we will open an inquiry case for you and respond through our ERM Customer Support System. After submitting an inquiry, you will receive an automated message response with a case number.
